XandMix is built around privacy. Here's what we do — and don't — collect.
What we don't collect
XandMix does not require accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, or phone number, and we do not build advertising profiles about you. Your video and audio are transmitted peer-to-peer between you and your chat partner and are not recorded or stored by us.
What we do process
To match you with a partner, we temporarily store minimal technical data such as your approximate country and a matchmaking queue entry while you wait. This data is used only to connect you and is removed once you are matched or leave the queue. We may log reports of abuse to keep the community safe.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to remember your preferences — things like your selected gender, country filter, interest tags, and intro message — so you don't have to set them each visit. This information stays on your device.
Your choices
You can clear your preferences at any time by clearing your browser's storage. Because XandMix is anonymous and does not retain conversation content, there is no personal chat history for us to delete.
